DEIJ Coordinator
AJ has worked throughout their life as an artist, activist and organizer, including ten years programming and teaching youth (ages 4-18) through social justice community-based art and theater in schools and community programs in New Mexico. In 2009, AJ received their M.A. from New York University, The Gallatin School, and wrote their master’s thesis, titled Reducing the Harm of White Supremacy, which focused on K-12 school settings. AJ continues to lead and participate in numerous workshops, trainings and conferences in this field.
