Community Design Day @ HMS

Last year, High Meadow School embarked on a comprehensive, community-driven strategic planning process to chart its course as a school and community organization that serves the public. Add your voice to the vision and help shape our future!

We are seeking current stakeholders, alumni students, families, and staff, summer camp and afterschool families, community organizations, and local residents to join us on campus for an energizing, in-person community design day for High Meadow, where we will take research and data about our mission, current place, and hopes and dreams for the future that we gathered over the course of last year and shape it into a collective vision for our program.

The schedule is below. Food is included, and childcare will be provided free of charge!

Participants will:

• Collaborate with parents, faculty, board members, alums, and community members about the direction of our school as both an educational organization and a community pillar in Stone Ridge

• Review the data from inquiry areas that our school’s Strategic Planning Team researched over the course of last school year

• Brainstorm initiatives or goals that the school might undertake within each area

• Pitch ideas to be considered for inclusion in the final strategic plan

Participants should expect to stay for the whole event. Food is included, limited-edition HMS swag will be given to participants, and childcare will be provided free of charge!
