Beatrice Wedd

Beatrice holds an M.A. in the teaching of English from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a B.A. in Written Arts from Bard College. She has taught in both public and independent schools, including The Kew-Forest School in Queens and Success Academy in Brooklyn, working with students from kindergarten through high school. Beatrice is passionate about nurturing student voice through engaging, inquiry-based learning and is deeply inspired by High Meadow’s progressive, student-centered approach. An avid environmentalist and bookworm, she especially loves helping students to take creative risks and develop curiosity, confidence, and care–for themselves, their community, and the planet.
