Star2B Performing Arts Camp (2 Weeks)
Specialty Camp Weeks 1 and 2
6/29-7/10
Star 2B’s Matilda Jr. day camp is two weeks of music, movement, laughter, and pure theater fun. Campers jump into the world of Matilda Jr. from day one, spending their days singing, dancing, acting, and rehearsing with professional arts educators who love teaching kids and know how to make learning feel exciting. This is educational theater, so kids aren’t just putting on a show. They’re learning real skills, building confidence, and discovering what it means to be part of a team.
One of the things families love most about Star 2B is our sense of community. Older Star 2B students and alumni serve as camp counselors and mentors, creating a welcoming, family style environment where younger performers feel supported, encouraged, and included right away, even if it’s their very first show.
Every camper will be cast in a fully staged production of Matilda Jr., complete with costumes, lights, microphones, and all the excitement of a real theatrical experience. The two weeks culminate in a live performance for family and friends on either Friday evening or Saturday afternoon, giving campers the chance to shine onstage and celebrate everything they’ve accomplished.
At Star 2B, we believe theater should be challenging, creative, and a whole lot of fun. Campers leave with stronger performance skills, new friendships, and the kind of confidence that carries far beyond the stage. Questions? We’re happy to help, email Star2BPerformingArts@gmail.com.
Star 2B Performing Arts has been helping young people shine, onstage and off, since 2012. We are a youth performing arts organization that provides high-quality training and performance opportunities in musical theater and the performing arts, led by professional educators working in the field. At Star 2B, we create a supportive, inclusive environment where every student is encouraged to be exactly who they are, focusing just as much on confidence, collaboration, and kindness as we do on vocals, acting, and dance. Our programs are designed to meet students where they are, celebrate their individuality, and help them grow as artists, teammates, and humans. Whether a student dreams of a future in the arts or simply wants a place to belong and be creative, Star 2B is a place to learn, grow, and shine.
