Keri Zurlini

Assistant Head of School

Keri is an inspired educator and mindfulness facilitator with over twenty years of experience in education. After earning her Masters of Science in Elementary Education from Hunter College, she began her education career at a small progressive school in NYC, a school to which she attributes her wellspring of inspiration as an educator. She now holds a Master of Science in School Leadership, NYS School Building, and District Leader certifications, as well as a Mindfulness in the Workplace Facilitation Certification. Before coming to High Meadow, she spent a number of years as a teacher and peer leader in Chappaqua, NY. In 2019, she was honored with a Faculty Innovator of the Year award for her commitment to educational innovation and providing a transformative learning experience for her school community. She has also been awarded the Hero of the Hudson Valley Award by the Hudson Prevention Resource Center for her volunteer work for prevention and wellness in the New Paltz Community. She honors a humanizing approach to teaching and learning, tending to students’ and staffs’ overall well-being and their emotional and social selves. She is a committed advocate for equity in education. At High Meadow, Keri has held the positions of classroom teacher, Lower School Division Head, Early Childhood and Lower School Coordinator, and is now excited to step into the Assistant Head of School position. She is grateful to immerse herself at High Meadow, a place that truly sees children and families and invites them to share their unique selves with the community.
