Tutoring

Tutoring: High Meadow School offers a wide range of private academic support for students who are in need.  Drawing on the expertise of our staff members, a tutoring program can be developed that is tailored to the particular needs of your child.

• Our most intensive program is Orton-Gillingham. Orton Gillingham  is a comprehensive multi-sensory approach to teaching literacy skills to students that have been identified as having special needs in learning to read, write and spell, especially those associated with dyslexia and related language difficulties. This sequential program includes phonological awareness, letter recognition, decoding, comprehension, spelling, grammar, vocabulary, fluency and written composition.  Students meet with their tutors 2 to 4 times per week.
• Math and Homework Support is also available.
