Each grade level learns the foundation of global citizenship through the study of culture, government, religion, and history. Emphasis is placed on studying a wide variety of cultures through a project-based approach encompassing reading, researching, field trips, special presenters, and the use of resources repressenting different perspectives. For one week each year, the entire school comes together to immerse itself in the study of a culture or idea to imbue students with curiosity and openness to unfamiliar cultures, places, and ideas. |
