We base our science studies on interaction with, and observation of, the natural world and natural phenomena. Students study topics across the scientific spectrum, including environmental, physical, earth and life sciences. Application of the scientific method encourages students to hypothesize, experiment, observe, and discuss.

At High Meadow School, emphasis is placed on environmental science and stewardship through hikes on our school's nature trail and in the nearby Shawangunk Mountains, as well as through classroom activities.
